About the Role: 

Guidera O’Connor is seeking a highly capable and experienced Site Supervisor to join our growing team. In this integral role, the Site Supervisor, takes the lead in delivering some of Western Australia’s most important water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Working alongside a highly motivated and experienced team, the Site Supervisor will drive site performance, champion safety, and plays a key role in bringing complex mechanical and process installations to life. 

This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. You will coordinate and mentor skilled trades teams, manage site activities, and ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards across a diverse range of infrastructure upgrades and new builds. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Leading and motivating site-based trades and subcontractor teams  
  • Driving a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all industry and company standards  
  • Coordinating mechanical and process installation works across multiple project scopes  
  • Planning and managing daily site activities, resources and work fronts  
  • Supporting commissioning and maintenance activities  
  • Developing work programs and maintenance schedules to optimise delivery outcomes  
  • Mentoring and training team members to build capability and performance
  • Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Clients to successfully deliver critical infrastructure projects 

About you: 

  • Experience as a Site Supervisor within the construction industry, leading trades teams with enthusiasm and a strong safety focus   
  • An ability to understand Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)  
  • A Cert 3 or higher Mechanical trades certificate  
  • Solid experience working on major infrastructure projects, water industry experience is preferred  
  • Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards relating to the construction industry  
  • An enjoyment of building infrastructure and solving problems
